For Travis Alexander....my thoughts.
Jodi, Jodi, Jodi........
How are you doin'? Beginning to realize what hell is like?
If not yet, you soon will.
And here is why.....
You meticulously planned your crime.
You methodically carried out your slaughter of Travis Alexander.
You took every step you felt necessary to cover up the heinous deed you did.
You dishonoured and blatantly showed total lack of remorse to the family and friends of Travis Alexander following your dastardly crime.
You lied repeatedly.
You made up stories time and time again.
You showed absolute disdain for true victims of Domestic Violence by claiming to be a victim yourself.
You did your utmost to annihilate the proud/respectful/good reputation of Travis Alexander.
You lied repeatedly.
You tried to circumvent the laws and court mandates with your delaying tactics through motion after motion.
You orchestrated two performances, both filled with lies and accusations, while on the stand 18 + 1½ days in order to garner sympathy from both juries.
You systematically trashed everyone involved in your life.
You made sure that you did not leave your family out of these accusations with lying memories of illegal and abusive behaviour.
Following your guilty verdict of Premeditated First Degree Felony Murder with the Aggravating Factor of Extreme Cruelty, you asked for the Death Penalty (thinking once again that it would influence the jury (who betrayed you) to NOT give it to you).
In your one and only allocution, you again changed your mind and stated that because of your family, you wanted to live.
In your one and only allocution, you talked of the good person that you are and all that you have done and will do if you lived.
You lied repeatedly.
You supported the unprofessional experts you presented in your defense.
You supported the lies that were given by witnesses and affidavits in your defense.
Well Jodi, although YOU probably feel you won - YOU DID NOT!
Now your fate is in the hands of the judge.
Will you get LWOP or Life with the possibility of parole?
After breaking the cardinal sin of killing another human being, you continue to break the law while waiting for your sentence.
This will not go unnoticed.
Your current restrictions and why they were imposed speak for themselves.
One of the most pathetic things about you is that you do not even fathom the amount of dislike/hatred/repulsion that is directed at you by everyone.
You align yourself with disreputable people because they are the only ones who seemingly support you.
You can trust THIS, they will abandon you soon after your sentence.
You will then be transferred to hell on earth - Perryville, where you will live out the remainder of your life behind steel and cement with others who are as evil as yourself.
You will fade into oblivion and a non-entity.
The saving grace for all of us who have grown to know Travis Alexander and his courageous family is that Travis Alexander WILL be remembered for the good and decent man that he was.
His memory will not fade in the hearts of everyone.
His short life will be celebrated forever.
