I find it interesting that "rage" comes out in someone with BPD.
Arias may have been suffering from rage against Travis for a while BUT in this so-called rage, she was still able to be calculating and methodical in her planning and execution of Travis.
This crime did not happen overnight.
She took her time and went through the motions without a blink of an eye.
She knew what she was going to do and knew it was wrong by the extensive cover-up that followed the slaughter.
It is interesting to research the mind and how it works. I do not dispute that.
But none of this is any justification for what she did and has been convicted of doing.
She may have issues with relationships and with feelings of being abandoned, etc., etc., but many people suffer with issues such as these and do not murder someone. They cope the BEST way that they can.
I still contend that this mental illness defense in this case is a sham and a fake defense.
