I got halfway through the video and shut it off. Heard so much of this before - someone's opinion on how the trial was going and dissecting Arias' personality.
Moot point for me at this stage as she was convicted of Premeditated First Degree Felony Murder with the aggravating factor of Extreme Cruelty.
I do not feel that Martinez saw any need to bring in a ton of people who could speak to Travis' character. Those he did bring in made it perfectly clear - in honest testimony - that Travis was not an abuser, a pedophile or addicted to porn.
Martinez had the evidence to back up his case.
"Me thinks thou dost protest too much" comes to mind with the defense's (Arias') strategy to go into great detail about sex, smut, computer issues and the like. They drag Travis through the mud at every chance they can get. They file motion after motion after motion.
Martinez relies on the truth and the evidence.
Some may not like his aggressive behaviour in the courtroom or is dogged determination but that is who he is and how he gets his job done.
The defense lawyers on the other hand, just prolong everything in their questioning and repeat and repeat points. They are not clear and concise like Martinez.
