I loved that video because it exactly sums up the premeditation, the murder, the extreme cruelty and why she deserves the death penalty.
Justice,
I too thank you for this link. It certainly clears up any issues one might have thinking there was no premeditation.
The only unfortunate part for me was I saw photos that I had not seen before and they are very disturbing.
I cannot help but think that the same feelings will be had by the jury when Martinez shows them again in his closing argument.
There is no question that this jury has seen a different side of Arias from the first jury.
Their knowledge of Arias has not come from Arias herself at this point as it did for 18 days in the first trial.
What they HAVE seen and heard however is....
MOST IMPORTANT - Arias has been convicted of Premeditated First Degree Felony Murder with the Aggravating Factor of EXTREME CRUELTY and......she is a pathological liar.
1. The graphic photos of Travis in death
2. The suffering of the Alexander family
3. A meek and remorseful Arias on the stand
4. The letter that was sent to the Alexander family showing no remorse and the innuendo that Deanna could have had something to do with the murder
5. Her attendance at the memorial service followed by her flirting with a man on the plane and getting his number
6. The unsubstantiated claims of child abuse
7. The unsubstantiated claims of her parents being drug users
8. The unsubstantiated claims that Travis was a pedophile
9. The unsubstantiated claims that Travis' computer was full of porn
10. The unsubstantiated claims that Travis physically abused her
11. The solicitation by Arias of witnesses who have proven to be lying on their affidavits
12. A diagnosis of BPD
13. A unsubstantiated diagnosis of PTSD
14. Lack of credibility/ethics and professionalism of the defense's "experts" witnesses BUT credible testimony from the state's experts
15. ARIAS KNOWS RIGHT FROM WRONG
16. Arias scored high in intelligence (which speaks to #15)
17. Total lack of family/friends support by coming forward as mitigation witnesses in open court
18. NO ONE coming forward to speak as to why she should live
19. Finally, they will see that not even Arias would take the stand again, under oath, and testify in her own defense
20. They will hear an allocution/speech from Arias, NOT UNDER OATH, lauding herself as a good person with much to give to others and should not lose her life over "just one day"
Juan Martinez will remind the jury of all of the above in his closing argument. He will bring in the human side of the true victim in this case, Travis Alexander. He will accentuate the aggravating factor of Extreme Cruelty, part of her conviction.
Nurmi/Wilmott/Arias will only repeat what the jury has heard, ad nauseum, and point out, emphatically, that she is mentally ill and should not be put to death. Never mind that in the eyes of the law, she is competent as evident of this trial in the first place!
