It seams the law was enacted in 2000 or 2001 is now called by the judge to be enacted in 2008 and exempting the 2007 Jodi arrest, that was my premature Allen charge mistrial argument! Note undecided was only on unused verdict form, this jury instructions has a additional verdict form' and questions to judge are always submitted by the unique question to judge form!NERN Wrote:I think the "everybody" are reporters and tweeters who have a agenda of trial duration and / or contrary opinions' why speak if raising blood pressure doesn't result!duluth45 Wrote:Â Everybody seems to think that if given the choice, the judge won't sentence to to life with possibility of release after 25 years. Duluth,
I was waiting for Martinez and he did not disappoint me.
Now we must again hear the same drivel today from Nurmi.
Then, finally, this case goes to the jury.
I believe the DP is more of a possibility than  I did before but I am not on the jury.
It is too bad if they come back with life as this will drag on for some more time.
But then, who knows what JSS will do?
I think its feeble to assume the judges mindset' but the jury watch the judge upclose, my seat of the pants assumption is that the jury members fear the judge allowing release after 25 years, if so it's a release after 25 years or Death Penalty option, because that's the verbatim of jury instructions possibility, I would not be comfortable with the life options tabled' if I was seated!
Lunarscope, I hadn't thought of a jury thinking of if they vote life that the judge might give her possibility of release after 25 years. That is an interesting way of looking at it. Also, wouldn't her time served be applied to the 25 years?
