To anybody else who is interested, I am mentioning that somebody posted that during the first trial, the jury decided to not try to change another's mind. I must be missing something because I am thinking that a jury should discuss issues and try to understand another's viewpoint, but the discussion should (IMO) be to possibly change others' views. To get to a verdict. If some can't change their viewpoint, fine and dandy. But a jury should discuss different viewpoints, I believe, to .... I don't know what. To reach a verdict, I think. Am I far off? Probably. I usually am.
