Well, it has been a few days since the verdict in this case.

I can honestly say that, although I continue to follow updates, turning on my computer first thing in the morning to follow is not happening.

For me, Arias is gone. All that remains is her actual sentencing at the hands of JSS. I firmly believe that she will get "natural life." She will then begin the rest of her sorry life watching her back and withering away.

For the Alexander family and their friends, I hope that they have settled a bit since the verdict. It is so disheartening that they must wait another 30 days before Arias is put away and I am sure it will be a difficult time for them. Once she is gone, they will continue to move forward with their civil suit and I believe they will come out on top with it. Unfortunately for them, all of this dispute over the jury hold-out and possible legal charges against this person will occupy their time as well.

I sincerely pray that they can continue to be resolute but also begin the healing process. They have been remarkable people throughout all of this and deserve continued support as they move forward with their lives. They will always remain in the hearts of so many, including myself, as will their brother, Travis.

I am pleased to hear that the legal system is moving forward very quickly with the investigation of sites run by JA supporters AND of this juror. After reading the Examiner posting by Christine, there are too many coincidences and unanswered questions that must and ARE being addressed.

But whatever happens, Arias is gone and that will not be changed.

Duluth, the three jurors weren't on Good Morning America this morning. The ABC video I watched said you could see the interview in full on Good Morning America today. Maybe it will be on tomorrow.

This is what the jurors said on ABC Saturday:

Jurors 8, 4 and 18 spoke out exclusively to ABC regarding sentencing and the lone juror who held out against the death penalty.

All three jurors who spoke out agreed that they flip-flopped throughout the case on whether Arias should receive life in prison or a death sentence, but that the decision was clearer during deliberation. They said at the beginning, the jury was split 6-6 on the death penalty.

One juror said she believes Juror 17 had already made up her mind early on after seeing a movie about Jodi Arias.

"She really expected to see this horrible monster based on the fact she had seen these movies, but she saw a girl."

A third juror says he "would be lying" if he said he didn't feel that the juror against the death penalty didn't have an agenda.

"I think I pretty much knew from that point on that it wasn't going to change," one juror said. "For me it was extremely frustrating...knowing that you are trying so hard and it just wasn't going to change anything. "

Not being able to come to an agreement on the death penalty was "heartbreaking" according to one juror. Another believes it will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

Nern, Arias is not gone. She is still in Estrella Jail masterminding her websites from jail until the judge sentences her April 13 where she is lashing out against the 11 jurors who voted for death. Before she is sentenced, Nurmi will have to file a motion asking that the judge overturn the guilty verdict before she can appeal it to an appellate court. Arias will appear at a hearing for that motion and there will be a hearing for her sentencing where she, her attorneys and her family can ask the judge for release after 15 years and the Alexander family can ask the judge for LWOP.

Even when she goes to Perryville, she will be running her websites through letters unless they are shut down.

A comprehensive report of the history of her behaviors and activities while in our custody is in progress. For all intensive purposes, Arias IS gone.

With the investigation now going on into JA Supporter sites AND with the lone juror, you can bet that Arias is being monitored while in Estrella. Even good old Sheriff Joe is trying to shut her down. Apparently her cell has been tossed already.
Her supporters are certainly going to be very careful as they could face criminal charges for the release of the 11 jurors' full names (noticeably the lone juror's name was not published with the others). Essentially, all they can post now is hateful comments towards the judicial system, the 11 jurors, the judge, the Prosecution and even the Alexander family. But these are meaningless, terrible comments that will affect no change to the fact that Arias is facing the rest of life behind bars. And, they are just like her and will abandon her when all is said and done.

What is left is sheer semantics for Arias. Of course she will be at the hearing for the motion to dismiss her guilty verdict AND of course she will be there for her sentencing. That goes without saying.

But when sentenced, she will be "officially" gone and enter Perryville with severe restrictions for a long time. the personnel there know who they are getting and what she is capable of and will be vigilant. All of her actions, including mail, will be scrutinized on a regular basis.

That is not to say that she will not try to continue her evil ways but I think she will be shut down at every twist and turn.
Of course she will try to appeal anything she can but it will be to no avail.

All of this new, serious hub-bub surrounding leaking info and the lone jury is separate from what is in store for Arias. Her life as she knows it is over and that means for me, she is finally gone!

Nern, I feel more at peace now that the trial is over, but I won't be able to let it go until she is actually formally sentenced to prison hopefully for her life. I will want to see the trial on youtube or whatever I can find because I want to see it. I am glad you are nearly done and I will be soon, I think, once I know she is in the clinker for ever and always.

Observer, thanks for the link about the three jurors who spoke on Good Morning America. I will watch it tomorrow. I can only imagine how frustrated the 11 were. Do you hear anything about the Alexanders filing a wrongful death lawsuit? I think that will be good if they do. I don't know much about it but maybe the attorney can make sure that anything Arias does to make money does not leave the prison, if nothing else. Murderers should not be allowed to make money while in prison for life other than the jobs they can do while there which pay very little money. I think Arias will continue to manipulate and get away with all sorts of things and I hope the authorities keep a very close eye on her and don't trust her for one second.

I like the article you posted by Kevin Samantha. I wonder if the authorities will be able to trace the leakage of the jurors' names to de la Rosa. I actually hope she is the one who did it. I don't know why. I think I suspect she is very under-handed. We'll see. She, like Arias, probably doesn't live by the rules if what we heard about her taking things out of the jail are true. Some people simply don't think the rules apply to them.

Anything I have ever seen is that the majority of "convicts", when sentenced, are in prison garb. I certainly hope she is too. she has lost the right to the ordinary clothes that the people in the free world wear.

As long as they enforce it, the "Son of Sam" law comes into affect for Arias and she will no longer be able to make a buck from her crime. Everything that Charles Manson has made in prison since 1969 has been confiscated and destroyed.

I am sure Arias does not want to go to Perryville because she will no longer be able to run her business of selling her artwork and managing her websites.

The woman who tweets for Arias said she met Arias through the Jodi Arias is Innocent Site. She said she wrote to Arias through the Jodi Arias is Innocent site and Arias responded through the site because the jail only allowed Arias to receive postcards.

I am afraid the jail is not reading those communications if Arias was able to get the names of those 11 jurors to the site without the jail officials knowing about it. Arias could be masterminding her own escape through the JAII site. Troy Hayden found the underground route so those nutcases who support her could ambush the guards who are escorting her back to jail and guns blazing kill the guards and escape with Arias.

I don't trust any of those nutcases because they hate law enforcement and believe in overthrowing the government. They see Arias as an innocent battered wife who was wrongfully convicted so I wouldn't put it past them trying to break her out of prison before she is sent to Perryville.

I agree Observer - Perryville will severely cramp her style. I also think, although she will never admit it, that she is fearful about going there. She may think that she knows what it will be like but in fact, she has NO idea. She will miss Estrella.

I believe that it is more likely that MDR had something to do with the leaks more than Arias.
Arias may be masterminding it but she is watched probably even more now and MDR would have the resources to do such a thing.
Wilmott and Nurmi wouldn't do it because they would be disbarred immediately.
Given MDR antics throughout - she seems the more likely - IMO.

It has been stated that Arias has been transported to and from court alone and under heavy guard. She does not travel with other inmates who are going to their court dates.

Again, trying not to be Mrs. Doom and Gloom. Arias is not worth it.

Observer, when I read your posting about the nutcases, I immediately think that is possible. I am remembering all those people who went to Nevada with their weapons to help Cliven Bundy, a man who refuses to pay fees for running his cattle on federal (or maybe state) land because they believe he shouldn't have to. Those people were very scary. And Arias has the same type followers. I am sure the authorities are very aware of this possibility.

Nern, good for you for not being Mrs. Gloom and Doom. I am not going to be either but I am absolutely not ready to totally forget about this. I will start doing that after April when she is in her stripes in the court.

I thought actually I personally just desire, Jodi would be out of jail and in prison, by now' thought is was immediately, then heard after interview, now we wait, Shariff Joe is just talking, has a report that says' but he didn't share the report, I never liked him and he has cost Arizona way more than Arias for being sued. He claims stopping Jodi is complicated, she will get work there soon, overcrowding rules, many lies were reported about Jodi in that jail, her rude awakening needs to start, yes I hope handcuffed and shackled feet for Jodi in court for no on. Last time I saw Jodi she had her arms full of briefcases and paperwork, that's never been allowed to my knowledge!
