The state has rested its case, people. I hope the jury listens to facts.

Excellent read on Just Da Truth link you sent Lunarscope/Observer.

I am soooo sick of beating an old horse to death! All this testimony on porn and the computer has been gone over and over and over ad nauseum.
From all that I have heard, I feel that yes, there were adult sites on Travis' computer (as I am sure are on zillions of peoples' computers).
Yes, there were viruses.
Yes, Travis visited on-line dating sites.

But it proves nothing to me of what the defense (Arias) is claiming.

It does not prove he was a pedophile.
It does not prove he was a porn fanatic.

And why did Arias destroy her own computer?
Was the existence of the very things that she is accusing Travis of on her own computer?
Was there damaging evidence of research in how to get away with murder?
Was there damaging evidence of her hacking into Travis' computer?

Enough is enough already.

Hooray! Over before Spring!
JDT blogger has at least 20/30 excellent blogs, we had hundreds of comments that when comments were disabled became deleted, he warned us the yuku forum had security that blogger forum didn't offer, Victorious managed/reedited/supervised the rewatch project between trials, excellent, but Victorious has not posted in months,?

Long ago yuku had the who's online that was cool but getting the search forum function somehow conflicted, the yuku blog will be reviewed for ages!

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/02/jodi-arias-parents-bankruptcy/

It was interesting that Jodi Arias parents declared bankruptcy just before she is sentenced.

After the verdict, the Alexander family attorney said after Arias is sentenced he plans to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Arias.

Since she is an adult, I don't think that the attorney could file a lein against the Arias home but maybe since they are handling proceeds from the sale of Arias' drawings and the appellate fund, they might be liable. I don't know the law on that.

I can't figure out what purpose of Martinez calling Lonnie Dvorkin today since the judge wouldn't allow him to testify that he testified for the defense that there was no porn on Travis Alexander's computer in 2009. He mentioned there were some porn videos and pictures but he didn't mention the same sites as John Smith, the new defense expert, claimed he found.

Unfortunately, we have to put up with more lies, smoke and mirrors from Smith, Fonesca and Geffner for another two weeks or more, then Arias will give her allocution and we will hear the closing statements.

I for one will be glad when this is all over and Arias is shipped off to death row at Perryville.

It's ridiculous that Arias tries to convince the jury and the public that she is not violent, a murderer or a liar when the autopsy pictures and fabricated stories in her journal, emails and voicemail to Alexander after she murdered him and the fabricated stories she told Alexander's family, the police, his and her friends and her family.
Curious question for anyone.....

This jury, would they have had to have no knowledge of the first trial to qualify to sit on this jury?

It seems this trial is coming to an end sooner than later (unless the defense gets busy again).

When one looks at ALL that has been presented in the first trial, resulting in Arias' conviction, and in this trial to date, I find it hard to believe that anyone would buy into the defense's (Arias') case.

Proven......
1. Arias is a convicted murderess AND used extreme cruelty in her crime against Travis
2. Arias is a pathological liar
3. Arias knows right from wrong
4. Arias is a stalker
5. Arias is a manipulator
6. Arias goes from one relationship to another - even after murdering Travis, she was on her way to another man's place
7. Arias shows no sign of remorse
8. So-called mitigation "witnesses" were lying on their affidavits
9. BPD can be considered a mental illness but................again, she knows right from wrong
10. Defense expert witnesses not credible in their opinions
11. Travis was not a pedophile
12. Travis was not an abuser
13. Travis was not a porn fanatic
and I know there are more facts

Take everything, from the state and the defense team, as a whole as it has been presented in court and I believe that the jury would be hard pressed to find that Arias should get away with murder without suffering the punishment she deserves.
Aggravated murder 1 with extreme cruelty as deliberated by the first jury, stands' unchangeable by this new jury, who agreed that prior case understanding would not preempt their deliberation decision.

Thanks for those words, Lunarscope. I haven't found fault in Martinez yet but maybe will with this trial if I ever get to see it. I am starting to get scared that maybe he didn't bring in enough telling evidence of what a murderer Arias is. But we'll see. Regardless, I find comfort that the first jury was able to find her guilty. We don't have to worry about that in this trial. I don't think they will go for the death sentence and I am not really sure if they can vote for life with possibility of parole after 25 years. I hope not.

This new jury all live locally in Mesa area' and know the first trials costs and fame.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jodi instead of retelling or recreating lies' just sings the jury lullabys to show that she in cunningly crazy, to try to save her life!
We can only wait for the jury to make their historic decision. Any trial can go any way, but Jodi has no mitigating factors' so we can rest assured that the Jury can smell-out the BS, if any conviction can impact crime deterrent as far as the DP is involved, this is the strongest case-in-point to example!
This juries tax money funds Jodi's defense and Travis was their upstanding community leader!

Edit-in I'm convinced we have from 2 weeks to a month before deliberations, but I can be wrong!
