I found it on my own under the title Jodi Arias Documentary 48 Hours Mystery. The title confused me. Once I started watching it, I recognized seeing it before. It was actually the 48 Hours TV show I watched that peaked my interest to watch the trial. I saw it right as the trial began although it was originally shown probably shortly after she was extradited from Yreka to Phoenix. This was back when Flores was believing that the gunshot came first and he was stabbed later, probably based on what Arias told him after a night in jail when she made up the Ninja story. In this interview she looks Maureen Maurer right in the eye and lies her pants off as she says she had an idyllic childhood, she was a photographer, Travis wanted her to move to Mesa, invited her to Mesa the day she killed him and two masked intruders knocked them both out and murdered Travis and let her go. She smiles sweetly as she cloaks herself in the veil of innocence and claims she will not be the first person to be wrongfully convicted and perhaps sentenced to death or Life without parole.

My favorite quote was when Samantha looked at Maureen Maurer and said "Don't be fooled by Jodi Arias's lies. She was obsessed with my brother. As soon as I was told my brother was dead, I knew he was murdered and thought Jodi did this. She is evil." I loved it that Taylor Searle said Travis was happy when he had told her it was over and was going on with his life with a new girl he had just met. Searle also said as soon as Travis Alexander's body was found, he took out his laptop and went to Arias' Facebook page and showed the cops Arias' picture and said, "Look at this girl." Flores also said Jodi Arias' name came up over and over when he interviewed Alexander's friends. Sky and Chris told the story about Arias hearing the private conversation that had with Travis outside the door and having a scary evil look in her eyes and they telling Travis he couldn't bring her to their house anymore.

The show would have been better if they had not interviewed the pathological lying sociopath. I enjoyed listening to the comments made by Detective Flores, Taylor Searle, Samantha, Stephen, Skye and Chris and Alexander's other two friends but I could hardly stomach watching and listening to Jodi Arias because her smirk, claims of innocence and manipulation as she weaved her web of lies make me sick to my stomach. I don't believe a word out of her mouth. She was never a photographer. She didn't have an idyllic childhood. She and Travis never traveled after they broke up and she moved to Mesa. Travis did not invite her to Mesa and two intruders dressed in black did not massacre them. All this crap about being confident that God would not punish her for this crime because he knows she would never hurt Travis and she would prefer the death penalty made me want to throw up.

Arias described Travis as wonderful, handsome, likeable and a good guy and talked about their relationship as being great. This was before she made up the crap about him being a pedophile and a vicious evil abuser with a Jekyll and Hyde personality that she is spewing now to get out of the death penalty. Every time she opens her mouth she lies. One lie replaces another.

I too had seen this episode before and I have tried thinking back as to what got me into this case in the first place and it might have had something to do with it.

Yes, everything that she says, every word spoken by her is an insult to humanity.

I have trouble listening to her as well but I found that after having gone through the guilt phase and her conviction along with all the in depth discussions since, going back and listening to her only confirmed all that is being said about her.
She lies as easily as she breathes.
She is a manipulative and vindictive person who will go after anyone who crosses her.
She is just plain evil and as I said, watching her in action only confirms this.
(01-31-2015, 12:05 AM)Justice Wrote: [ -> ]The day she left to go and kill him, Juan showed texts and calls that she made to Travis.  He finally replied twice.  I think she tried reaching him 11 times that day, but that's from memory.  I do know she called him A LOT and he finally replied a couple of times.

But, she had notified Darryl Brewer to borrow gas cans first in May, then when she was headed his way to get them, in June.  My point is...Travis was NOT begging her to come and see him that day, as she said.

Good point. I think Jodi Arias called Travis Alexander from her cell phone on her trip as part of her alibi plan just like telling everybody she was going to Utah to meet her new love, Ryan Byrnes, using the gas cans to avoid detection in surveillance tapes in Arizona, turning her phone off before she got to Arizona so the cell towers would not ping in Arizona, dying her hair brown and taking the license plates off the rental car at Travis's house so no one would recognize her. She had to get all of those ideas from the true crime documentaries she watched because that is the MO of other killers. She figured the cops would look at her cell phone and see the phone calls to she made to Travis from California and say, "She's not our perp. Her cell phone shows she was never in Arizona. She talked to Travis on the phone that day so they were friends and she had no motive to kill him."

Arias said in her 48 Hours interview being arrested and booked "was not like on the TV show Cops." I'm not familiar with that show but I think she watched true crime shows on TV because even when she was talking to Flores she was using the same lingo that suspects on documentary shows use in TV interviews. She first denied she was there and said it couldn't have been her because she would never have stabbed Travis, just shot him because it was more mercenary and she would have worn gloves and on and on.

You're right. Travis would never have begged Jodi to come to Mesa to see him. He was done with her when he called her a sociopath and the worst thing that happened to him. Taylor Searle said Travis had "closed that chapter of his life" when he emailed her it was over and he was done with her, which sealed his fate because the "fatal attraction" was not going to let him dump her and marry someone else. She was going to be the last woman to have sex with him and then dispatch him to hell, which she figured he would go because in his religion premarital sex is a sin and she didn't him a chance to repent on earth. She didn't know our religion because you can repent in heaven, also.

Arias would never have let Alexander know she was coming because he might leave or tell someone and they would tell the cops he told them she was coming. She ambushed him and he was probably shocked and scared to see the sociopath in her house. I believe he was sound asleep when she crept into the house in the middle of the night through the garage and slipped up the stairs and in his bedroom. Because she cleaned his house she where the key to his room was or he didn't lock it and she locked it from the inside after killing him because the roommates had to get the key to go into his room to find his body.

All we have is her word that they had sex that day and we know she is a pathological liar. Flores told 48 Hours there were separate naked pictures of them but never said there were naked pictures of them having sex. She could have taken pictures of him asleep naked and of herself naked while he slept. He took an Ambien to sleep so he could have been knocked out. They could have spent the day looking at the pictures she brought from their trip and she could have blabbed on and on or she could have manipulated him into having sex, saying let's do it one more time before we go our separate ways, you with Mimi and me with Ryan.

I also don't think Travis posed for those pictures in the shower. He has his back turned and his eyes closed in all of the pictures but the last one in which he looks surprised to see her. I think she went out the door, saying goodbye and he thought she was gone, went up to take a shower, she got the knife/knives and gun out of her car and sneaked back in the house, upstairs and took pictures of him on his camera and he was unaware she was taking the pictures of him with his back and side to her. That's why the shocked look on his face of the last picture of him alive. When he turned around, he saw her taking pictures of him and slid to the floor to cover his genitals so she didn't get them in the picture. Dr. Geffner told the jury Arias was left handed. So she was holding the camera with her right hand and reached into her back pocket for the knife with her left hand and stabbed him in the chest and that's when the camera pointed down and snapped the photo of him from the waist down sitting on the floor with his knees hiding his genitals. I think she took pictures on his camera and planned on taking the camera as a souvenir of Alexander and to make it to look like he was killed in a robbery gone wrong. His roommates also found his ring and watch on the kitchen counter which was strange to them because he always wore them. I think she got spooked and feared she'd be caught with his belongings before she could get rid of them so she tossed the camera in the washing machine to destroy any evidence and left the ring and watch on the kitchen counter.

The pictures were time stamped so they knew Travis was killed June 4, 2008, shortly after 5 pm. The last picture of Travis alive was taken at 5:02 pm and the picture of Travis lying on the floor with his neck slit was taken at 5:04 pm. Arias had testified that his roommates were not there in the daytime but one of them was due home at 6:30 pm. I think she was telling the truth then to show off that she knew everything about Travis and his roommate's comings and goings, not realizing it proves she was stalking him. She knew she had to strike at 5:02 pm while he was naked trapped in the shower and had no way to get away so she could and kill him, clean up the crime scene and leave before his roommate came home so she was not caught. I don't believe she ever intended for Travis to get out of that shower alive and was shocked when he got on his hands and knees and crawled to the sink which was why she stabbed him on the top of his head, back and shoulders to try to stop him from getting away.

Had to check this out and left the post with a smile on my face.
Don3e going to jaii. That site is a fake. No way its real. So I'm done. But I can't wait for Monday. I think you can lose your mind trying to see what's right in front of your face. She did it, planned it.and nurmi and wilmont know it. I believe they are just trying to save face . this is all ridiculous.
Of course she did it, planned it, and then tried too hard to cover her tracks! Of course, her defense team knows it. Its plain, they are just trying too hard to get her off, and nothing they are doing is making any sense for MITIGATION.
I have a book that would be a good, reliable book for anyone who gets bored with discussions or when there are no good trials to talk about or when there is no court for a few days. My copy is on Nook, but I'm sure its available on Amazon and Kindle and in book stores; maybe even in the libraries. Its written by Robert D. Hare, PhD who is well known for his work and his studies.

The book is 'Without Conscience': The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us. I refer back to this book a lot, especially concerning Jodi Arias.

In his preface he starts out by saying, "Psychopaths are social predators who charm, manipulate, and ruthlessly plow their way through life, leaving a broad trail of broken hearts, shattered expectations, and empty wallets. Completely lacking in conscience and in feelings for others, they selfishly take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations almost without the slightest sense of guilt or regret. Their bewildered victims desperately ask, 'Who are these people?' 'What makes them the way they are?' "

He goes on to explain, "These questions have been the focus of clinical speculation and empirical research for over one hundred years -- and of my own work for a quarter century --it is primarily within the last few decades that the deadly mystery of the psychopath has begun to reveal itself."

This is a good book to have on hand to refer to from time to time, if anyone is interested. I highly recommend it. I've been re-reading it lately, due to the Jodi Arias trial and her lies and manipulative ways. She's even learned how to manipulate the court system in Arizona and gain delays, a long, LONG trial, and even somewhat of a following, which stuns me.
A hodgepodge of replies!

Jodi stole Travis's ring' engagement was told, I think it was a friendship ring!

I think Travis's ring was placed by the kitchen sink as a symbol or slight against the church or faith! Intentionality!

Three fatal wounds, no blood in bullet path, so he was bleed-out, or If bullet touched brain matter the percussion would eliminate defensive wound possibilitys!
A heart attack is not a stroke, the Vena Cava is part of the heart and its injury is a heart attack. The Vena Cava is a major vein not heart muscle but is part of the heart. If the first wound was to the heart' a heart attack result eliminates the defensive wound possibility.
Remaining is the neck "slices/sawing, I believe (for about a year now) their was a neck slice first and again just before the bullet' Jodi returned to repeatably slice his neck, Dr. Horns testimony didn't deny that possibility!

Dr. Horn also stated Travis could have been shot with a contact wound (gun touching or nearly touching) if a protective barrier was used to eliminate gunpowder burns called stippling = a towel placed between' that could have been used as a improvised noise silencer!

I can agree that Travis sat in shower to protect his privates from photographs, but the shower door was open and homeowners protect their bathroom floors from shower water damage, note door was closed for the only gap in pictures of 72 seconds, enough time for Jodi to grab knife that was nearby!

Jodi put bleach in washing machine and then washed a load of clothing without bleach, to fill and drain then soap and wash only takes turning of the setting dial, she only had a little over an hour, to wash blood off herself, get on his computer, so she let water run on Travis for the noise in case someone would arrive, shutting water off before departure!

The carpet stain has a trail of blood dripping down entire hallway, so I believe clothing or towels were set there, Jodi has to have a container to carry away things' so she used a little bathroom trash can or plastic bags! Putting Travis's head 12 to 18 inches before the carpet threshold!

The camera was definitively about 4 foot above the floor in the shower door ceiling picture!
The camera was definitively about 2 foot above the floor in the picture with Jodi's foot!
The camera was 6, 9 or 12 inches above the floor in the final dragging picture, without photo enhancement the height above floors not definable, but camera was not setting on the floor!
The camera had to be hanging on a camera strap around Jodi's neck, people think the camera was kicked and followed the attack, I adimately disagree, unless Jodi twice picked up the cameras for the final two pictures and snapped the shower door picture while camera was just under her chin!

Martinez revised his attack sequence 4 times = 5 times he told the first jury his assumptions, but the last words to the jury by Martinez (which phase I'm unsure) was that he didn't know for certain, then jury left for deliberations!
Nern, I love the satire in Attorney Monica Lindstrom’s posting about Arias winning and how she points out with pictures that Arias got her way in delaying the trial, getting attention from the media attention, getting the judge to grant her every wish, avoiding Martinez cross examination, staying alive.

Justjrep, you’re right that you can’t believe anything from the Jodi Arias is Innocent site. It is run by Jodi Arias and her family and nutcases who follow Arias every command to try to dupe the public into believing her lies. I never read the site but I do read the Travis Alexander and Juan Martinez Facebook support sites and sometimes they post a line or two from JAII and Jodi Arias Updates twitter account to show how delusional they are. I think it is a window into the mind of a sociopath/psychopath.

Justice, thanks for recommending the book by Dr. Robert Hare. He is the utmost authority on psychopaths. What I find fascinating is every article or book I read on psychopaths, it is like the author is sitting across the room from Jodi Arias and drawing her portrait.

Lunarscope, Linda, the woman Travis Alexander dated while Deanna was on her LDS mission, told Dr. Drew Travis told her that Jodi Arias had stolen the engagement ring he bought for her. He had proposed to Linda but she turned him down. He kept the ring in a drawer in his bedroom. Jodi Arias was the only one who could have stolen it. Dr. Drew told her not to feel guilty and think if she had just married him he would never have met Jodi Arias and he would still be alive today. The roommates said Travis never left his ring or watch on the counter before the day he was killed so Jodi Arias left them there.

Dr. Randle, did you change the setting so we have to log in every time we want to post? The first few days I posted on the new BB board, the site saved my name and password and I didn't have to log in. And I could freely edit my posts and there was a New Reply button at the bottom that I clicked on and I got a blank page and could just type my own post. Now every time I leave the site, I have to hit reply to one of the posts, log in and then delete the other person's post from the page before I can write my own post. It is irritating. I can't find anywhere on the site to log in without pressing the reply button on one of the previous posts. There is no way to change the setting so I don't have to log in each time and reply to someone else's post or to cancel the post so I can write my own post without deleting the post. It is better than no board at all but sometimes updates just make things more complicated and I am not computer savvy. When I have a problem with my computer, I just call a grandchild but none of my grandchildren are not around now. LOL So I need your help. Please either change the setting back so I don't have to log in every time and can just press the New Reply button like I did the first few days the board was up or show me how to do it.

I couldn't agree more. Nurmi and Willmott have always known the guilt of Arias. Not being able to get off the case forced them to put on a defense. They cannot save face, IMO however, as they have knowingly put forward a bogus defense. They have systematically followed Arias and her instructions and put the victim on trial. They bought into her "victim" defense by trashing everything in the life of a good man, Travis Alexander. all that they have accomplished is lining their pockets with the taxpayers' money and made a mockery of the legal system.

Thanks justice, I will look it up.
Jodi Arias looks jealous and angry as Lisa Andrews Daidone, the woman who dated Travis Alexander whom Arias stalked, slashed her tires and sent her the threatening email, testifies in the murder trial. The defense called her to make Alexander look like a cheater, bad Mormon, only after sex and a liar and to bring up an angry email Daidone sent to Travis the first time she broke up with him. Wilmott was trying to show Alexander was unaffectionate towards Arias so she asked Daidone if she ever saw Jodi trying to be affectionate and Travis not being affectionate.

Lisa said she saw Jodi Arias was all over him, hugging him, when he was trying to talk to people, which shows Jodi Arias as a stalker, not Travis as a bad person. Lisa said one of Travis's goals was that he wanted to be married and said he wanted to marry her. She broke up with him the last time because she wasn't ready to be married.

Wilmott's examination is tedious and boring but when Martinez gets up he gets Daidone to testify that Alexander never forced her to have sex or abused her in any way at anytime and that he did not get angry when she broke up with him. She says she kissed him first and initiated sexual contact.

Martinez turns Lisa into a prosecution witness during his cross examination. If you wish to just hear Martinez cross exam of her and the jury questions skip to 51.9. Under cross, Lisa said she broke up with him because strange things were happening. Alexander spent the night with her but they had no sex after someone rang the doorbell (she wasn’t allowed to talk about the slashed tires.) She did mention that Jodi walked into Alexander’s house when she was there and Jodi ran out. After Wilmott's re-direct, the jurors ask questions and one juror asks her if Jodi was Travis's stalker and Lisa says yes.
