? Will Murder 1 with extreme cruelty Jodi be allowed to change into street clothes for the verdict? Possibility of jury question that reseats jury in courtroom with Jodi in attendance could appear predjudical and Jodi may have street clothes on standby for that reason, but I hope Jodi is shackled for judgement!
Ladies, if I hear Nancy say anything else, I will keep it to myself. I can't stand her either, but like I said, I am weak and I want to hear anything about what is going on.

I hope someone takes a picture of Arias in her jail garb and posts it somewhere!!!!

Lunarscope, I think the defense used the Mormon religious beliefs to make Travis out to be a pervert because he had sex with Arias. I think it was a terrible thing to do. I hope this jury doesn't consider that but who knows.
Nern, thank you for the link to the heartbreaking story of a supporter of the Travis Alexander family who knows exactly what they are going through because she went through it with the murder of her sister.

I have been blessed to never have lost anybody to murder and so I have no idea what it feels like. I can imagine that they feel like they have been stabbed in the heart every time they are faced with reliving the crime due to the murderers getting more rights than the victim.

It was hard to read but the courage of family members who attend trials and appeals hearings to keep the victim's murderer behind bars is remarkable to me.

I don't think I would have the energy if I lost one of my parents, siblings, children, grandchildren or spouse to murder. I would turn to jello and never want to get out of bed.
Nern, that middlechild posting is very chilling. I also think the court system is biased toward the defendant and sometimes very harsh on the victim and victim family. It doesn't make sense to me. I have felt this in the Arias trial.
By the way Duluth, what did you mean by this sentence in your post about Nancy Grace: "And she thinks the jury is not in a hurry because of the crock pot."

I know Nancy Grace is weird but did she actually say crock pot or was that a typo?

If she did, what was she talking about?
She said crockpot. One of the jurors was observed this morning going in to deliberate carrying a crockpot. One observer at first called it an electric skillet. Later someone says it is a crockpot.

I agree the link was dramatic and Observer your comment was equally important but Duluth's is shorter!
I shared!
I too have never lost a family member or friend to a horrific crime and cannot imagine where those that have, draw their strength from. Some from sheer fortitude I am sure, some from their faith, and some from the support of others I guess.

Duluth, post whatever you wish to post. All is relevant and occas. gives new information.

Bringing in the Mormon faith as Nurmi did was unconscionable. And on top of that, he proceeded to call Bishop Parker a liar. That was above and beyond defending a client - IMO.
But that is what became expected of Nurmi in this trial.

During the first trial, for a short time, he had my sympathies. He seemed forced to defend Arias after trying to get off the case numerous times and having to read the 12 page letter that Arias wrote blasting him and wanting him fired. He even had me a bit when he said "9 days out of 10, I do not like her either". Most likely the closest to the truth that he got.

But in THIS trial, he caved.
He became a bottom-feeder just like his client.
For that, I am sure he has lost most of any respect that he may have accumulated during his career.

May I remind you all...................................I HATE THIS WAITING!
Nern, the waiting is getting to me too. I can't seem to accomplish anything because I keep coming over to the computer and looking at anything I can look at. It's why I broke down and watched she who I won't name!

I do feel that there won't be a verdict until the end of next week. I hope I am wrong, but I don't know what this jury has to go through because I haven't been able to see this trial, I don't really know what the jury was told. I look forward to seeing this trial on youtube or wherever it will be.

And yes, it was a real low of Nurmi to accuse the bishop of being a liar. I think he took lessons from Lavilette.

I hope I learn some law from this trial. I end up so confused by this or that. I am thinking there is a lot to learn to become an attorney.

Observer, I just saw on TV that there are loose llamas in Maricopa County, in Sun City, Az. One has been caught but not the second. Are you seeing that on your news?
Nurmi was a lowley public defender of serial killers and the skum of the earth, its why Jodi picked him, I never believed her letter to the judge' think it was a appealable issue if Nurmi was replaced' if so on that I applaud the judge, I think Jodi came up with the 9 out of 10 days statement' she was anticipating him saying it!

Although even the worst of the worst deserve a diligent defender and Attorneys lie because their not under oath, Nurmi is worst than any criminal that he ever met' not violently demented like Jodi but worst than Jodi in every way' plus he uses the court system disrespectfully, I want a tally of how many motions he filed and a statement if he charges motion filing hours and how much OT he awarded himself!

Duluth' the jury have all the evidence from both trials, the paperwork must be voluminous, they can find whatever was said' I don't think its organised for ease of finding thou, I bet the jury deliberation room would be to small!
